I have over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families across the social sector, public schools, and early intervention settings. I believe deeply that every individual has a voice that deserves to be heard, and that the creative process—when gently supported—can nurture emotional well-being and meaningful personal growth.
As an accredited art therapist, I strive to create a safe, attuned space where individuals can feel seen, heard, and valued through authentic creative expression.
At KAWA, I hope to co-create a nurturing environment where parents and children can be held and grow together in confidence, joy, and security. My roots in psychodynamic art psychotherapy strongly influence my approach, especially Donald Winnicott’s belief that “There is no such thing as a baby. There is a baby and someone.” This attachment-focused lens grounds my work with families as I support parents in shifting from self-criticism toward self-compassion, and in recognising that they are already the “good enough” parents their children need.
