I'm the Founder and Principal Occupational Therapist at KAWA, where I bring together clinical experience and a genuine passion for holistic, family-centred care. I began my journey in occupational therapy after graduating from Curtin University in Australia, and started my career at the National University Health System (NUHS), where I rotated through both Psychiatry and Pediatrics.

Over the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families across early intervention programs in non-profit organisations, SPED and MOE schools, and private clinics. Along the way, I developed a deep interest in the mind-body connection, which naturally led me to explore yoga and mindfulness—practices I now blend into my therapy sessions to support emotional and physical well-being in a more integrated way.

My approach to therapy is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe in looking at the whole picture—honouring each child’s unique personality while also supporting the parents and caregivers who walk alongside them.
In every session, I weave together sensory processing, emotional regulation, and purposeful play to create experiences that feel safe, engaging, and meaningful. I draw from a wide range of approaches—like Sensory Integration, DIR Floortime, CO-OP, and Interoception—to support each child’s nervous system and overall well-being in ways that are truly tailored to them.

I’m especially passionate about creating a calm, responsive space where children can explore at their own pace and where families feel supported every step of the way. For me, therapy isn’t just about reaching milestones—it’s about building connection, confidence, and tools that families can carry with them long after the session ends.

Through this nurturing space-KAWA, I hope to spark meaningful progress for every child and build a strong village of support for the families we serve.
